"Allah has no son" sign in Nazareth

Christians are downplaying the confrontational banner hanging in front of the Basilica of the Annunciation (where, according to Catholic tradition, Mary received the news that she would bear a son conceived by the Holy Spirit). Muslims have hung a sign quoting the Qur'an saying “In the name of Allah, the most beneficent, the most merciful, Say (O Muhammad): He is Allah, (the) One and Only. Allah, the Eternal, the Absolute. He begetteth not, nor was begotten, and there is none like unto him." Sura 112:1-4

The belief that Jesus is the eternally begotten Son of God is central to Christianity, no other doctrine is more central to Christians.

Illegal to tell the truth about Islam

In 2002, Daniel Scot and Danny Naliah started a 5½ year battle to be allowed to peacefully tell the truth about Islam. Eventually they succeeded and were vindicated that they had not promoted hatred, contempt or ridicule of Islam or Muslims. Yesterday's action by the UN (see the news article below) means that it is more likely that such cases are going to increase.

Spare a thought for the Christians who already daily face death just for praying and worshipping in their own homes and the millions who are constantly under threat because they live in Islamic lands as Christians. Pray for them that the Lord may equip and strengthen them. Shari'a law is coming to our shores whether you like it or not.

It is not a battle of moderate Islam and fundamental Islam. Islam brooks no dissent and barely permits discussion.

It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allâh and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allâh and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error. Sura 33:36

Muhammad hit his wife Aisha

Discover Islam has a poster that says that Muhammad never hit a woman or child. This is untrue. In the Sunnah, Muslim, Book 4, Hadith No. 2127 it records that Muhammad hit his favourite wife in the chest, causing her pain, because she followed him. It was her turn with her husband and he slipped out when he thought she was asleep. When he found out, Muhammad hit her because she thought that "Allah's apostle would deal unjustly with her."

Men and Women aren't Equal

An article on Discover Islam is a good example of the lies that some Muslims are willing to tell to help further Islam. The poster entitled, "Does Islam give Women Equal Rights?" says that nowhere in the Qur'an does it say that one gender is superior to another. This is a blatant lie.
